What We Believe
For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
We believe that, the Bible is the absolute and infallible Word of God. It contains God’s plan for the salvation of mankind and it gives us ultimate principles in life in which we need to live by.
We believe in one God, the Father in creation, who manifested himself to mankind as a son in redemption, and he gave us his holy spirit for regeneration. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD” (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29).
We believe that, we need to partake the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ through:
• Repentance –we believe that, we need to die (death) to our former state or our old nature and surrender to the will of God. To repent is to turnaround from our old nature to walking in the newness of life (born again). 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
• Baptism – We believe that, we need to be buried (burial) through baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, “for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
• Infilling of the Holy Ghost – we believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the spirit giveth the utterance. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues” (Mark 16:17).
We believe that, our lifestyle and values have to be consistent with the principle of the word of God. For holy living thus glorify God.
